Condensation occurs when air that has a high level of relative humidity comes into contact with cold surfaces such as windows and cold walls. The moisture within the air can condense, causing water to be deposited. Modern building construction and living conditions mean that it is often difficult for this moisture laden air to exit the property and when deposited on cold surfaces, black spot mould can grow.
